My Friend Jerry Chen

I dedicated the Chen family
on behalf of my respect for Jerry as a man, colleague, and most importantly as a
human being who cared about this world and his fellow man. His memory to me and
his friends will always be a happy one.
He learn to live with
praise, he learn to appreciate. He learn to live with approval, and in turn, he
learn to like himself and give to others which was a marvelous gift.
His parents gave him and
provided him with acceptance, and in turn he gave the world love and joy.
His parents provided the
family atmosphere to live with recognition and in turn, Jerry had tremendous
goals. He was a sharing, generous, honest man who understood right and wrong.
His parents and family taught him how to be friendly and Jerry tried to teach
the world that this was a nice place in which to live. The after glow of his
smile took him into the game of life.
“LIFE ITSELF IS A RACE,
MARKED BY A START, AND A FINISH. IT IS WHAT WE LEARN DURING THE RACE, AND HOW WE
APPLY IT, THAT DETERMINES WHETHER OUR PARTICIPATION HAS HAD PARTICULAR VALUE. IF
WE LEARN FROM EACH SUCCESS, AND EACH FAILURE, AND IMPROVE OURSELVES THROUGH THIS
PROCESS, THEN, AT THE END, WE WILL HAVE FULFILLED OUR POTENTIAL AND PERFORMED
WELL.”
My friend Jerry has
fulfilled his potential and performed well in his twenty-five years.
